AFR Operation Manager

Role Overview

Position Responsibilities

• Manage the department P&L within the assigned area of control.
• Drive local market growth with field sales and improve customer satisfaction and retention through customer visits.
• Handle customer complaints and special requests as a first- or second-level escalation point.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement process improvements using standard DGF performance tools.
• Ensure shipment teams follow Global standard processes.
• Manage supplier relationships to optimize service delivery and profitability.
• Coordinate and develop a high-performing team and lead supervisors and specialists against Air Freight objectives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance procedures are followed for shipment commodities and locations.
• Achieve productivity targets and maintain accurate job management control for gross profit maximization.
• Manage existing client relationships, identify upsell opportunities, conduct customer visits, and support retention.
• Identify supplier performance issues and resolve customer issues and incidents in the air product area.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• More than five years of experience is required.
