Program Summary

Job Summary

  • The Alternate Site Manager (ASM) supports day to day management, coordination, and performance of all TAS operations at an assigned installation.
  • Reports to the Site Manager and ensures aircraft servicing operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with PWS and directives.
  • Provides leadership across flight line operations and serves as designated authority in the Site Manager's absence.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace by enforcing flight line safety standards, FOD prevention programs, and tool control procedures.
  • Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Assist in daily oversight of TAS operations including aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn around, and departure.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor assigned personnel during shifts.
  • Serve as acting Site Manager in the absence of the Site Manager.
  • Coordinate daily tasking and priorities; assign work, monitor execution, and resolve operational challenges.
  • Schedule personnel to maintain required 24/7/365 service levels.
  • Inspect and audit work to verify compliance with PWS, Technical Orders, and airfield procedures.
  • Oversee execution of aircraft ground handling and servicing operations.
  • Monitor performance trends and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain effective coordination with Government stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and records management.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. National (USN) with an active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
  • Demonstrated experience in flight line operations and aircraft servicing.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong Knowledge Of

  • Aircraft ground handling and servicing procedures.
  • Airfield safety requirements and flight line operations.
  • Applicable Technical Orders and maintenance practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing TAS operations at locations such as Prince Sultan Air Base, Al Udeid Air Base, Al Dhafra Air Base, Ali Al Salem Air Base, or Muwaffaq Salti Air Base.
  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Air Force TAS operations.
