Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning in accordance with Technical Orders
- Execute aircraft arrival and departure services including chocking and grounding
- Conduct aircraft servicing operations to support turn around and mission readiness
- Assist in aircraft launch and recovery operations
- Perform operator level inspections and servicing of assigned equipment
- Maintain strict accountability of tools and equipment
- Participate in FOD prevention activities
- Follow all applicable Technical Orders, safety directives, and SOPs
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors and team members
- Identify and report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions
- Support documentation requirements including servicing records and shift logs
- Perform duties in austere conditions including extreme weather
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services
- Hands on experience working on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations
- Knowledge of aircraft marshaling and ground handling procedures
- Knowledge of flight line safety requirements
- Knowledge of use of ground support equipment

Job Summary
- The TAS Technician is responsible for execution of aircraft ground handling and servicing operations
- Reports directly to the Supervisor
- Performs aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn around, and departure tasks
- Ensures all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with PWS, Technical Orders, and U.S. Government directives
- Accountable for maintaining operational readiness and supporting 24/7/365 flight line operations
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace by adhering to flight line safety requirements including FOD prevention, tool control, and PPE
- Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning in accordance with Technical Orders
- Execute aircraft arrival and departure services including chocking, grounding, and safe positioning
- Conduct aircraft servicing operations including general ground handling tasks
- Assist in aircraft launch and recovery operations
- Perform operator level inspections and servicing of assigned equipment
- Maintain strict accountability of tools and equipment
- Participate in FOD prevention activities
- Follow all applicable Technical Orders, safety directives, and SOPs
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors and team members
- Identify and report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, and operational issues
- Support documentation requirements including servicing records, shift logs, and inspection checklists
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance
- Ability to maintain operational continuity across rotations
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services
- Hands on experience working on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations
- Knowledge of aircraft marshaling and ground handling procedures
- Knowledge of flight line safety requirements
- Knowledge of use of ground support equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting U.S. Air Force TAS operations
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification or equivalent military experience
- Familiarity with FOD programs, tool control, and flight line safety compliance
- Experience coordinating with MOC, Airfield Management, and aircraft maintenance teams
