Aerospace and Defense Engineering Intern

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions is looking for an Aerospace and Defense Engineering Intern to join our high-tech engineering and manufacturing company for the period of May 3, 2027 to May 2, 2028.

To support our focus on delivering high quality products, we are looking for an enthusiastic internship student to add to our Aerospace and Defense Engineering team .

This role offers you a chance to work hands-on alongside our team of Aerospace and Defense product engineers working on the NovATel's Ground Reference Receiver, GAJT and Defense Receiver portfolio of products.

Working with our experienced team of electrical, software and system engineers you will gain valuable experience in hardware, software or system design and verification.

This position is based onsite in Calgary, AB.

As an Aerospace and Defense Engineering Intern , responsibilities include:

• Design, execute, and document software verification methods for NovAtel's Ground Reference Receiver and Anti-jam products.
• Develop software and tools in C++, Python and MATLAB for testing and product improvement.
• Automate testing and post-processing using MATLAB and Python.
• Troubleshoot failing tests and/or units under test to identify and resolve issues.
• Contribute to the development and testing of GNSS Reference receiver software, and anti-jam product software, depending on your skills and interests.
• Actively participate in code and test reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Registered in an Engineering Internship/Co-op program and have completed at least your 2nd or 3rd year of studies by the start of the work term.
• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Geomatics Engineering at an accredited post-secondary institution, with a focus on software development and signal processing.
