Aerospace Algorithms Engineer

The candidate must have the ambition to own mission planning algorithms for their entire lifecycle: conception of the solution, development, documentation, deployment in software, and testing.

Most importantly, the candidate must be passionate about developing solutions that are fieldable!

• US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED or the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• MS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Physics or other relevant field
• 5+ years of experience
• Proficiency in Python algorithm and software development practices.
• Strong background in physics, math, and statistics.
• Experience with developing algorithms and simulations.
• Experience simulating dynamic systems to test and validate algorithmic performance
• Experience describing systems via equations of motion derived from first-principle engineering analysis
• Experience presenting technical work through white papers, analysis test reports, and oral presentations.

MORSE Corp’s salary range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need.

Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.

Depending on role eligibility, total compensation may also include bonus, stock, 401(k) match, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and life insurance.

Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year.
