About the Role
Alterna Savings is seeking an Advisor Assistant to support Wealth Management advisors with client onboarding, transaction documentation, and compliance. You will maintain client records, assist with KYC updates, and help with campaign projects.

Responsibilities
- Onboard new clients and maintain accurate client records in the contact management system.
- Gather information from Investment Advisor to fulfill compliance requirements and client requests.
- Maintain up to date KYC data and ensure documentation complies with regulatory standards.
- Assist in preparing client meetings and transaction documentation.
- Support Investment Research and Client Education by conducting preliminary research on stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for clients regarding account inquiries and follow ups.
- Assist with seminar preparation and ensure adequate marketing materials.
Requirements
- Post secondary degree/diploma in a related field considered an asset.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook Course (CPH) required.
- Minimum 2 3 years of administrative or client service experience in wealth management or similar environment.
- Experience supporting licensed advisors in an administrative or assistant capacity considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working within CRM and document management systems.

Scope of Position
- Under the direction of the Team Lead, the Advisor Assistant provides day to day support to the Wealth Management sales force.
- Responsibilities include assisting in preparation of client meetings, transaction documentation, and participating in campaigns.
Major Responsibilities
- Onboards new clients and maintains client records.
- Gathers information for compliance.
- Manages KYC data updates.
- Assists with client risk profiling.
- Supports investment research and client education.
- Reviews segmentation summaries for revenue opportunities.
- Provides Advisors with market information.
- Acts as client contact for inquiries.
- Tracks asset transfers.
- Assists with seminar preparation.
Qualifications
- Post secondary degree/diploma in related field is an asset.
- Completion of CSC and CPH required.
- Minimum 2 3 years administrative or client service experience in wealth management.
- Experience supporting licensed advisors is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM.
