As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of advanced systems including hardware, software, and network components.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system solutions meet quality standards and customer requirements, contributing to innovative and efficient technology solutions.
You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.
Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) solutions that meet performance and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, hardware, software and test engineering to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Author high-level systems requirements in DOORS
- Conduct system-level analysis and optimization
- Systems integration, validation, & verification
- Model-based systems design and development
- Work closely with stakeholders to capture and manage system requirements.
- Ensure system specifications meet the broad array of requirements including safety, performance, and compliance
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Customer interaction
- Project oversight
- Project coordination
- Support Project Engineer in budget/schedule responsibility
- Travel: up to 10%
- Relocation support may be provided.
