Responsibilities
- Provide advanced life support (ALS) interventions, including intubation, medication administration, and advanced airway management, to stabilize critically ill or injured patients in the pre hospital setting
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to accurately identify and evaluate the nature and severity of patients' conditions, guiding treatment decisions
- Administer a wide range of medications, including intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IM), and subcutaneous injections, adhering to established protocols and physician orders
- Initiate and maintain intravenous (IV) lines, including the insertion and management of peripheral and central lines, ensuring fluid and medication delivery
