KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with operations to diagnose and resolve day‑to‑day manufacturing issues, ensuring stable and efficient operations.
- Develop brazing processes and assist in creating inspection criteria for brazed assemblies
- Drive resolution of QNs, CARs, and PROs.
- Lead structured problem‑solving efforts (RCCA, 5‑Why, Fishbone) and drive corrective and preventive actions through full closure.
- Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on cycle‑time reduction, waste elimination, and process automation.
- Work closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering to resolve technical challenges.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, quantify process capability (Cp/Cpk), and recommend targeted improvements.
Qualifications
- The Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP & Secret security clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, Computer Systems, Mechanical)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in process development, inspection or production of brazed assemblies
WE VALUE
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry and/or Electronics manufacturing.
Experience in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.
Experience in the use of Six-Sigma & Lean tools
