The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II applies technical expertise with responsibility for product and process application to ensure product integrity manufacturing output while leading continuous improvements, working with both labs and factory operations.
Our team develops new or modifies current processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Ring Laser Gyroscope and MEMS based inertial sensors and IMUs.
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II influences the planning and designing of manufacturing engineering processes by determining parts and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification, for both existing and new processes/product technologies.
This role strives to maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II supports daily production activities and drives producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.
