Role overview
The Advanced Embedded Software Engineer joins Honeywell Aerospace's Sensory Guidance and Navigation team.
The team develops mathematically complex software that combines sensor data from multiple navigation systems into flight guidance systems.
Work schedule
- The position is based in Phoenix, Arizona, in a hybrid schedule with three days at the site and two remote days.
Key responsibilities
- Define requirements and designs for embedded navigation software.
- Develop navigational features and embedded software architecture.
- Code real-time operating system software and integrate systems.
- Create certification artifacts and perform testing, verification, and validation.
- Define features, support customers, and communicate complex technical information.
- Develop innovative solutions to technical problems and opportunities.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
- At least one year of embedded software engineering experience using C, C++, and assembly.
