Role overview
State Street’s Global Alpha Data Platform enables clients to load, enrich, and aggregate multi-asset-class investment data from service providers and data vendors.
The role supports advanced data management technologies and integrated views of client holdings for a global client base.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and provide input to Alpha Data Services platform designs for a rapidly growing business operating at massive scale.
- Provide data solutions to Alpha Data Services clients.
- Support client implementation and onboarding teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Accounting.
- 10–15 years of experience in data integration or orchestration services, data governance, service architecture, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with ETL, Snowflake, CI/CD pipelines, and data-readiness design, development, and implementation.
- Experience designing relational data models for audit, time-series, complex-relationship, and high-volume datasets.
- Experience with system performance and profiling techniques for complex data models.
- Exposure to holdings, transactions, security reference data, performance and attribution, or ESG data domains.
- Strong SQL knowledge and understanding of SDLC practices.
