Key Responsibilities

• Manage and complete admission paperwork accurately and timely.
• Coordinate room readiness prior to resident admission.
• Collect, verify, and enter demographic information into electronic charts .
• Verify and enter insurance information and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with nursing and other departments to ensure a smooth admission process.
• Provide professional and compassionate customer service to residents and families .
• Communicate with referral sources and assist with the admission process from referral through arrival.
• Perform other administrative and admissions duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience with admissions in a skilled nursing facility is required.
• CNA or LPN preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records and computer systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
