Job Purpose
Provide administrative and estimating support to the Estimation Department for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
Coordinate supplier and subcontractor enquiries, follow up quotations, and assist with basic quantity take-offs.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Send enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors as directed by estimators.
- Follow up for quotations, samples, technical datasheets, and clarifications.
- Maintain supplier and subcontractor databases and track received quotations.
- Assist in preparing quotation comparison sheets.
Quantity Take-off Support
- Assist estimators in reviewing drawings and specifications.
- Perform basic quantity take-offs and measurements under supervision.
- Prepare quantity schedules and update take-off sheets when revised drawings are issued.
Cost Database Management
- Maintain historical cost and supplier pricing records.
- Update material and labor cost databases.
- Organize supplier quotations and project cost information for future reference.
