This position is hybrid and will require 3 days on site at one of the following Quest sites: Secaucus, NJ or Schaumburg, IL.
Remote: This position can also be 100% remote if not located near a hub within certain criteria.
Pay Range: $110,000-145,000, plus yearly bonus.
Salary
offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained.
Market and organizational factors are also considered.
Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The Epic Operational Database Administrator (ODBA) is a mission-critical, hands-on role responsible for the installation, performance, and reliability of the Epic IRIS Operational Database (ODB) hosted in Microsoft Azure.
Operating in a high-volume, national-scale diagnostic laboratory environment, the ODBA will transition the system through its initial implementation, stabilize it during steady-state operations, and continuously optimize database performance.
This role works closely with infrastructure teams, integration engineers, and Epic Beaker analysts to ensure massive daily volumes of clinical testing data flow with zero interruption and strict adherence to healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, CLIA).
