Your Opportunity:
Would you enjoy leading a team in a fast paced, complex, change oriented environment that has an important impact on the delivery of front-line healthcare services? Scheduling Shared Services supports the day-to-day scheduling tasks of employees and managers. As the Scheduler Team Lead (STL) you will provide critical expertise in the daily operations of the staffing office by providing direction to staffing clerks, monitoring workloads and workflows in collaboration with the Scheduling Service Centre (SSC) Manager. You will provide scheduling support for Unit Managers, Charge Nurses and Relief Team Managers to ensure unit work plans and staff schedules/assignments are up to date and maintained through WFM. Leveraging strategic communication and problem-solving skills will be key in the ongoing collaboration with managers to resolve high priority scheduling issues in WFM. The STL will also be adept at maintaining cohesion by utilizing proven conflict resolution skills both within their team and for internal clients. The successful STL will efficiently assist with reviewing timecards in the WFM, analyze the time admin exception reports, investigate pay errors from a timekeeper perspective and make the necessary corrections for accurate delivery of pay.
