Position #: V40164 Expected Start Date: October 12, 2026 Union: OOS Facility: Regina General Hospital City/Town: Regina Department: Practitioner Staff Affairs Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: March 31, 2027 FTE: 1 Number of Hours per Rotation: 37.5 hours per 1 weeks Relief: No Float: No Salary or Pay Band: As per Terms and Conditions of Employment Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the position is accountable for the efficient operation of the portfolios through coordinating and managing clerical functions of the office, carrying out duties in a confidential nature, and assigned clerical functions for the Department. The Confidential Administrative Assistant is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Practitioner Staff Affairs office through accurate and timely execution of a variety of complex clerical and secretarial functions. The incumbent, exercising considerable initiative and with considerable attention to detail, carries out the duties and responsibilities of the position with minimal direction and day to day supervision. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience

• Five (5) years experience in an office environment

• Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course

• Basic medical terminology

Knowledge and Abilities

• Prepare responses to routine correspondence
• Extensive knowledge of business grammar and punctuation
• Ability to competently use computers and software applications
• Ability to take and transcribe minutes and to operate recording equipment
• Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
• knowledge of office systems including confidential information systems
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
• Has demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstration of extreme attention to detail
• Able to plan, prioritize and execute responsibilities independent of supervision
• Provide effective editing for draft materials presented for data entry
• Knowledge of reconciliation of finance/payroll/supply inventory records
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to enter data with accuracy and attention to detail
