Position Overview

  • We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant to support our legal team at United Advocates law firm.
  • The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office by providing a wide range of administrative tasks in a fast paced legal environment.
  • This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in a legal setting is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including managing calendars and scheduling appointments, meetings, and client consultations.
  • Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, correspondence, and forms as required.
  • Prepare and maintain legal files, documents, and case management systems, ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing, including time entry and file management for client billing.
  • Coordinate court filings, deadlines, and documentation submission.
  • Assist in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials by managing logistics and document organization.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, handling mail, and ensuring the office runs smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Arabic and English
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment preferred.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in document preparation and filing.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a professional, client focused environment.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
