Position Duties

• Provide quality instruction Exhibit commitment and involvement in the development, implementation, and assessment of curriculum based on program, department and college goals and objectives Attend faculty meetings Maintain current knowledge, expertise, and safety in the subject areas of teaching responsibility along with broader higher education matters and trends Respond to students, faculty and staff in a timely and professional manner Comply with campus policies and procedures Other related duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in relevant field, but employment and/or teaching experience may possibly be substituted for the education requirement Five (5) years of demonstrated work experience in the field or teaching experience Work independently in the classroom Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Possess great time management and communication skills Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in higher education Experience with Blackboard or other computerized teaching systems Teaching experience at a two-year college
