The College of Engineering Technology is seeking qualified applicants to teach AAS degree-level coursework in the College of Engineering Technology.
Depending on qualifications, subjects taught could include manual drivelines, brakes, electrical, engines, steering and suspension, electronic fuel management, chassis electrical, automatic transmissions, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, service area, or automotive machining.
A focus on student success is expected.
Office hours are required, with at least one hour for each class taught.
Use of current technology is expected.
This is a pooled position.
One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis.
Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses or approved FSU sites.
The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site.
The anticipated start date of this position is August 2026 at the earliest and January 2027 at the latest.
The selected candidate for this position must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire without employer assistance or sponsorship now or in the future.
