About the Department
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in cybersecurity, computer engineering, and artificial intelligence (AI).
The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in cybersecurity principles, computer engineering, and emerging AI technologies, with a commitment to high-quality instruction, student engagement, and experiential learning.
· Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in cybersecurity, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, and related areas. · Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards and technological advancements. · Deliver engaging lectures, laboratory instruction, and hands-on learning experiences. · Assess student learning through assignments, projects, examinations, and presentations. · Provide timely feedback and maintain regular communication with students. · Maintain accurate course records and submit grades according to university deadlines. · Collaborate with full-time faculty on curriculum development and continuous program improvement. · Support ABET accreditation efforts by documenting student learning outcomes and assessment activities, if requested. · Encourage ethical practices, innovation, and professional development among students. · Maintain office hours and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner.
