Adjunct Electrical Technology Professor

• Experience: Previous successful experience teaching in a community college environment is preferred.

AAS degree in Electrical or satisfactory completion of Trade School, or minimum of five years of related work in the electrical field and current Master Electrician license.

Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process and proven commitment to student success.

Collegial attitude with the college community as well as outside entities.

Other Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments Experience tracking student learning outcomes, analyzing resultant data, and implementing improvement plans.

Excellent computer and multimedia skills.

Physical Requirements: This position requires moderate physical exertion such as long periods of standing, repetitively lifting lightweight objects with frequent bending or stooping.

The job may require periodic lifting of heavy objects over 50 pounds.

Work Environment: Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.
