Role Overview
We are seeking a strong C#/.NET Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the business calculation layer powering our insurance illustration and sales platforms. This role focuses on translating complex product rules, financial calculations, and business formulas into scalable, high-performance software solutions.
The engineer will work closely with product, actuarial, and engineering teams in both India and the US to implement calculation logic for life and annuity insurance products. Much of the work involves analyzing business requirements and calculation spreadsheets, then converting those rules into robust, maintainable.NET applications and APIs.
Success in this role requires strong C# development skills, a solid understanding of.NET architecture and design principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work through complex calculation and business logic problems. Prior insurance experience is beneficial but not required for candidates with strong software engineering and analytical skills.
