Responsibilities
- Perform scripted and improvised scenes, conveying emotions and narrative through acting and movement
- Collaborate with director, production team, and other performers during rehearsals and filming
- Attend casting calls or rehearsals as required
- Interpret creative brief and storyboard, take direction on camera angles and blocking
- Participate in wardrobe, hair, and makeup sessions as required
- Maintain professionalism on set, adhere to shooting schedules
- Support promotional activities related to the music video where appropriate
Requirements
- Strong acting and drama skills, ability to interpret roles and convey emotion on camera
- Familiarity with music performance or rhythm, ability to sync movement to musical timing
- Experience or comfort with casting processes, including auditions and screen tests
- Understanding of film production environments and set etiquette
- Prior on camera experience (short films, theater, commercials, or music videos)
- Strong communication skills and reliability with time management
- Fluency in English preferred; additional language skills an asset
- Portfolio or showreel showcasing previous performance work

Role Description
- This is an on site volunteer role for an actress in a music video produced and distributed by Film Distribution Dubai (FDD), based in Dubai.
- The role involves performing scripted and improvised scenes, conveying emotions and narrative through acting and movement.
- Collaborating with the director, production team, and other performers during rehearsals and filming.
- Attending casting calls or rehearsals, interpreting the creative brief and storyboard, taking direction on camera angles and blocking.
- Participating in wardrobe, hair, and makeup sessions as required.
- Maintaining professionalism on set, adhering to shooting schedules, and supporting promotional activities related to the music video where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Strong Acting and Drama skills, including ability to interpret roles, convey emotion, and perform confidently on camera.
- Familiarity with Music performance or rhythm, with ability to sync movement and expression to musical timing.
- Experience or comfort with Casting processes, including auditions, screen tests, and taking direction during selection stages.
- Understanding of Film Production environments, including basic set etiquette and collaboration with technical and creative teams.
- Prior on camera experience (short films, theater, commercials, or music videos), strong communication skills, reliability with time management, and openness to feedback.
- Fluency in English is preferred; additional language skills relevant to the region are an asset. A portfolio or showreel is highly beneficial.
