We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate coordinator to lead our Day Treatment for Adults (DTA) and Group Supported Employment (GSE) programs within a DDD-certified environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in disability services, community-based programming, or behavioral health, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This leadership role requires someone who is strategic, organized, and deeply committed to person-centered care and DDD compliance standards.

• Program Oversight & Compliance

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of DTA and GSE programs, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with DDD, AHCCCS, and HCBS guidelines.
  • Develop and implement internal procedures that support safety, quality, and individualized habilitation.

• Individualized Care & Service Planning

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs) that reflect the needs, goals, and preferences of each member.
  • Oversee care strategies for individuals requiring additional behavioral, sensory, or memory-related support.

• Team Development & Supervision

  • Hire, train, and supervise direct support professionals (DSPs), job coaches, and other program staff.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and staff development sessions.

• Member & Family Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, families, guardians, and support coordinators.
  • Respond to concerns with empathy and professionalism to ensure satisfaction and continuity of care.
  • Educate families on DDD goals, community integration opportunities, and employment readiness.

• Community Integration & Activity Coordination

  • Plan and oversee daily schedules, volunteer outings, and employment support activities.
  • Encourage member participation in events that foster independence, self-confidence, and social interaction.
  • Partner with employers and community agencies to increase employment and job-readiness options.
  • Administrative Leadership
  • Oversee budgeting, staffing, resource management, and transportation coordination.
  • Monitor incident reports, safety logs, and program documentation systems (e.g., Therap, AxisCare).
  • Stay current on best practices in disability services, adult day programming, and employment supports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of developmental disabilities, DDD systems, and adult day programs.
  • Experience working in DDD services, adult habilitation, group homes, behavioral health, or supported employment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of memory support strategies, cognitive impairments, and person-centered care approaches.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to oversee staff and program logistics.
  • Ability to respond to behavioral, emotional, and interpersonal needs with compassion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Special Education, Psychology, Public Health, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in DDD programming or adult services management.
  • Familiarity with documentation systems like Therap, AxisCare, or equivalent.
  • Valid CPR/First Aid, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and Article 9 certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
