Acquisition Specialist

The Acquisition Analyst provides acquisition support to departmental leadership and serves as liaison and advisor to the division.

Provide quality assurance of Procurement Request (PR) packages in all stages of the PR process; identify and assist in resolving issues with responsible parties to ensure progress is being made

Assist in the budget development process to capture all funded and unfunded requirements and identify opportunities for streamlining contract actions.

Assist in the preparation of PR packages, Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Statements of Objectives (SOO).

Ability to manage all tasks and schedules to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Education: BA/BS or higher in Business, Finance, or other related disciplines

Experience: Requires 5 years of experience providing acquisition support services
