Acquisition Analyst

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Secret Certifications: DAWIA Practitioner or Advanced (formerly Level II, III) Equivalency in the Program Management field Education: Bachelor's degree in Acquisitions, Business or related field Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years experience in government acquisitions Additional Experience:

Working knowledge of the Defense Acquisition System as directed by DoD Instruction 5000.02, “Operation of the Defense Acquisition System”

Working knowledge of project management/scheduling software applications such as MS Project

Experience with task management systems, proficient in building executive-level briefings, and able to apply acquisition experience to formulation and consolidation of official responses to taskers, RFIs, etc.

Knowledge of price and cost analysis sufficient to review proposals, actual and estimated expenditures, and established rates to determine price reasonableness or to determine a negotiation position; ability to properly apply funding rules associated with the obligation of multiple types of appropriations

Knowledge of SOF-unique acquisition processes is valued

Experience staffing SAMPs, APBs, and 70-1 documents for projects, combat evaluations, and studies highly desired

Experience staffing FM worksheets for AF9 and DD448 funding, spend plan build development, market surveys, and technical evaluations is highly valued
