Role Description
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai.
The position manages customer invoicing, payment recording, and accounts receivable ledger reconciliation.
The role supports accurate financial transactions, cash flow management, and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue invoices and monitor outstanding customer balances.
- Record payments, reconcile ledgers, and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Follow up on overdue accounts with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Support the accounting team with reports and documentation.
- Work with finance and operations on cash flow management and policy compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and invoicing skills with accounts receivable and financial recordkeeping experience.
- Solid finance knowledge and analytical skills for reviewing and reconciling financial data.
- Excellent communication skills for client and internal team interactions.
- A relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in an accounting or auditing firm, especially in the UAE or GCC, is advantageous.
