About the Job
LaunchDarkly is seeking an Accounts Payable and Expense Specialist.
The role supports accurate, timely, and efficient processing and payment of vendor invoices and employee expenses.
The position helps maintain financial controls through proper review, coding, approval, recording, and retention of transactions.
Core Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and validate required documentation, vendor details, payment terms, and approvals.
- Review invoice and employee expense coding across general ledger, departments, projects, and entities.
- Manage invoice approvals and follow up on outstanding approvals.
- Review expense reports for completeness, business purpose, policy compliance, receipts, and coding.
- Resolve exceptions, duplicates, missing documentation, and potential policy violations.
- Coordinate with Procurement, employees, budget owners, vendors, and other internal stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries about invoice status, payment timing, expenses, reimbursements, and policies.
- Support payment runs, open-item reconciliation, and investigation of aged or unusual balances.
- Maintain records for audit readiness, internal controls, and company policy compliance.
