Role Overview
The Accounts Payable Analyst supports Western Canada payment operations, cash management, vendor management, and accounts payable governance.
The position oversees payment activities, supports cash forecasting, handles vendor escalations, administers corporate credit cards, and supports site-level accounts payable.
Workplace and Location
- The position is based in downtown Calgary and requires at least three office days per week with two work-from-home days.
- The role may include frequent travel to locations in the BC Interior and Calgary.
Treasury and Payment Governance
- Support daily cash management, payment execution, payment forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
- Ensure payment activity follows policies, delegated authorities, and internal control requirements.
- Oversee electronic payments, wires, EFTs, ACH transactions, and cheque disbursements.
- Review exception payments, support audits, and identify control improvements.
Vendor and Accounts Payable Support
- Maintain vendor relationships and support vendor onboarding, compliance, and master-data accuracy.
