Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and ensure accurate coding to the general ledger
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare payment runs in accordance with company policies and payment terms
- Maintain organized accounts payable records
- Assist with month end closing activities
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Working knowledge of IFRS and local VAT regulations
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of internal controls and the procure to pay cycle
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage high transaction volumes
- Effective communication and vendor relationship management
- Integrity and discretion in handling financial information
