Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including posting transactions and maintaining financial records
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports

Role Description
- The Accounts Officer role at PUM Ghana is a part time hybrid position based in Dubai, with a mix of on site work and work from home.
- The Accounts Officer will manage daily accounting tasks, including posting transactions, maintaining financial records, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- The role includes monitoring accounts payable and receivable, supporting budgeting and cash flow tracking, and ensuring compliance with internal financial policies.
- The Accounts Officer will also respond to internal and external inquiries on financial matters, provide courteous customer service to partners and vendors, and collaborate with team members to improve financial processes.
- Regular coordination with management to provide analytical insights and updates on financial performance is expected.
Qualifications
- Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements, with strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Solid finance and analytical skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong customer service skills for handling inquiries from partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present financial information clearly and accurately.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel) or similar tools.
- Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data.
- Experience in an accounts or finance role, preferably within an impact driven or non profit environment, is an advantage.
