- Manage the firm's day to day accounting and financial operations
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and statements
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Monitor client billing, invoicing, and collections
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required
- Manage payroll processing and related statutory obligations
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a law firm, professional services firm, or consultancy
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Professional communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
