Role Purpose
Support the Accounts and Finance team with accurate financial records, accounting transactions, invoices, payments, reconciliations, and routine accounting activities.
Support accounting operations for the company's manufacturing, retail, warehouse, and corporate activities.
Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Record daily accounting transactions in the accounting or ERP software.
- Maintain records of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, ledgers, and supporting documents.
- Prepare and post journal, payment, receipt, and contra entries and ensure entries are properly supported.
Purchase, Vendor, Sales, and Retail Accounting
- Verify purchase invoices against purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and supporting documents.
- Maintain vendor ledgers, track outstanding balances and payment due dates, and assist with vendor reconciliation.
- Record sales and retail transactions and reconcile store sales, cash, bank, UPI, card, and other collections.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Inventory, and retail store teams on discrepancies and pending documentation.
