About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed audit plans, including scope, objectives, and timelines
- Conduct on site and off site audits of financial statements and internal controls
- Identify and assess areas of potential risk within financial processes and operations
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as company policies
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations
- Conduct follow up audits to ensure recommendations are implemented and issues resolved
- Liaise with management and stakeholders to discuss audit findings and corrective actions
- Stay updated with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and audit methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or CA Inter or similar
- Minimum of 3 5 years of experience in auditing or related field
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, and regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
