Role Overview
Epimon FZCO is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to manage day-to-day financial operations and reporting for a Dubai-based commodity trading company.
The ideal candidate combines rigorous audit experience from a top-tier firm with practical commodity trading and accounting standards knowledge.
Location and Industry
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
- The company operates in commodity trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day postings in accounting software for customer and supplier invoices.
- Allocate incoming and outgoing payments and receipts accurately.
- Apply correct VAT codes and compile data and documentation for VAT return filings.
- Execute regular customer and supplier account reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and navigate complex general ledger dumps.
- Execute accounting tasks with exceptional attention to detail and minimal supervision.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold ACCA or CA credentials.
- Mandatory prior audit experience at a global top-10 accounting firm.
