Role Overview

The Accounting Manager oversees accounting operations, strengthens financial controls, and supports accurate financial reporting.

Role Responsibilities

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
Review invoices, payments, receipts, journal entries, and supporting financial documentation.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Manage bank reconciliations and maintain complete, accurate financial records.
Review accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Coordinate with Finance, HR, Operations, auditors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Support compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.
Guide accounting team members and support continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

At least five years of professional accounting experience.
Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
ERP or accounting system experience is an advantage, including SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills are highly valued.
UAE/GCC accounting and regulatory experience is a strong advantage.
