Responsibilities
- Oversee the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities
- Manage the general ledger, supervise daily accounting operations, and oversee month end, quarter end, and year end closing processes
- Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported in accordance with established accounting principles and organizational policies
- Prepare and review financial statements, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, oversee bank and balance sheet reconciliations, monitor fixed assets
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, maintain effective internal controls, analyze financial performance, and provide management with timely financial reports and business insights
- Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities to support external audits, tax compliance, statutory reporting, and financial governance initiatives
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures, support ERP or financial system enhancements, improve financial processes through automation
- Mentor and support accounting team members, coordinate cross functional finance projects, manage financial documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and corporate accounting practices
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations
- Experience with month end, quarter end, and year end closing processes, financial reporting, and statutory compliance
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and internal control frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of taxation, audit processes, financial regulations, corporate governance, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, operations, and executive teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet reporting deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast paced environment
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling confidential financial information

Role Description
- We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information.
- The successful candidate will lead accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with cross functional teams to support strategic business objectives and maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
