Responsibilities
- Lead the organization's accounting operations and ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting
- Manage general ledger, supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Oversee month end, quarter end, and year end closing processes
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities and address audit findings
- Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, and senior management to resolve accounting issues
- Drive process optimization, financial system enhancements, and automation initiatives

Role Description
- The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the organization's accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- This role oversees accounting processes, maintains compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and supports financial planning through effective financial management and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the general ledger, supervising accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, and overseeing month end, quarter end, and year end closing processes.
- Ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Overseeing budgeting support, expense monitoring, cash flow reporting, and variance analysis.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.
- Coordinating internal and external audit activities, preparing audit documentation, and addressing audit findings.
- Collaborating with finance, operations, procurement, and senior management to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.
- Driving process optimization, financial system enhancements, and automation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and month end and year end closing processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, spreadsheet applications, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills with the ability to perform reconciliations, analyze financial performance, identify discrepancies, and implement effective solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, audit processes, tax compliance, and financial governance principles.
