Accounting Manager

Role Overview

Role Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations and financial close activities.
• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key accounting metrics.
• Maintain accounting controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and review tax, VAT, and statutory requirements.
• Improve reporting efficiency and lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 6–10+ years of accounting experience, including management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, General Ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and local financial compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, financial analysis, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is highly advantageous.
