We are looking for an accomplished

to oversee accounting operations, strengthen financial controls and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and building a strong accounting function within a fast-moving Dubai business environment. 🚀

🔹 ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

📌 Manage the full accounting cycle and daily finance operations

📌 Oversee General Ledger, AP, AR, cash management and reconciliations

📌 Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities

📌 Review financial statements, management accounts and accounting schedules

📌 Establish strong internal controls and improve accounting procedures

📌 Monitor cash flow, expenses, budgets and financial performance

📌 Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for management

📌 Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting requirements

📌 Support UAE VAT and other applicable tax compliance activities

📌 Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions

📌 Drive automation and process improvements across the finance function

📌 Coach, supervise and develop accounting team members

🔹 QUALIFICATIONS

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

💼 6+ years of professional accounting experience with management exposure

📚 Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards

🇦🇪 Understanding of UAE accounting, VAT and compliance requirements

📊 Strong experience with month-end closing, reconciliations and financial controls

💻 Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics

📈 Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities

🧠 Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

🤝 Strong leadership and stakeholder communication abilities

🏆 ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent qualification is highly valued
