Role Overview

Own full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of five entities across multiple jurisdictions within an international Finance function.

This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity for an experienced international accountant with significant responsibility.

Accountabilities

  • Own accounting records and outcomes for five international entities across the US, Hong Kong, Cyprus, and other applicable jurisdictions.
  • Manage month-end close, general ledger reviews, trial balances, account reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
  • Maintain parallel accounting across corporate ERP systems and QuickBooks while resolving data anomalies.
  • Lead Cyprus and Hong Kong statutory audits and coordinate US tax filings and local statutory returns.
  • Maintain the group tax calendar for corporate income tax, VAT, and other applicable returns.
  • Prepare P&L forecasts, plan-versus-actual analysis, and financial compliance responses.
  • Identify discrepancies and control weaknesses, maintain documentation, and improve financial processes.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in a senior, international, general ledger, or comparable accounting role within a multi-entity international organization.
  • Strong practical knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  • Experience with statutory reporting, external audits, and local tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience with an ERP alongside QuickBooks or Xero, including bank feeds and API integrations.
  • Advanced Google Sheets and/or Excel skills for reconciliations, analysis, anomaly detection, and large-scale data handling.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting or financial planning, and plan-versus-actual variance analysis.
  • Upper-Intermediate English proficiency at B2 or above, with autonomy, ownership, analytical ability, and strong stakeholder communication.
  • Big Four or mid-tier audit experience is a plus but is not required.
