Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and assist with bookkeeping tasks.

Requirements
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance
- Experience with Bookkeeping, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Ability to assist in preparing and reviewing basic Financial Statements and related reports
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and standard office productivity tools
- Relevant education such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

Role Description
- The Accounting Assistant will support day to day financial and accounting activities for Project Management Tricks.
- This part time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a combination of in office work and some work from home flexibility.
- Responsibilities include recording financial transactions, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, maintaining accurate ledgers, and supporting the preparation of basic financial reports.
- The role also involves updating records in accounting software, reconciling accounts, organizing financial documentation, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- The Accounting Assistant will help maintain compliance with internal policies and support the finance function in routine operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to understand core financial principles and procedures.
- Experience with Bookkeeping, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ability to assist in preparing and reviewing basic Financial Statements and related reports.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and standard office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, online collaboration platforms).
- Relevant education such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with remote and in office team members.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance support role is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
