About the Role
FLYERALARM is seeking an experienced Accountant cum Admin with SAP expertise to manage the complete finance and accounting function of its UAE business. You will handle accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, payroll, and HR administration.

Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting operations using SAP (SAP R/3 or S/4HANA preferred)
- Process journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including supplier payments, customer invoicing, reconciliations, refunds and collections
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and post bank transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including Income Statements and Balance Sheets
- Handle month end and year end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, depreciation, interest and loan postings
- Maintain fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and monitor open items
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts
- Monitor actual performance against budgets
- Produce monthly cash flow forecasts and advise management on funding requirements
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA or Chartered Accountant is highly preferred
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE
- Strong experience with SAP ERP (FI/CO); SAP S/4HANA experience is an advantage
- Experience managing complete accounting cycles from bookkeeping through financial reporting
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Financial Reporting
- Experience preparing monthly and annual financial statements
- Solid knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, Corporate Tax and IFRS
- Previous experience within an international, manufacturing, e commerce or B2B environment is advantageous
- Advanced SAP accounting knowledge
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

Role Summary
- This is a hands on position responsible for managing the complete finance and accounting function of the UAE business while supporting HR administration, payroll, compliance and office administration.
- Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work closely with our headquarters finance teams, auditors, tax advisors and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and efficient day to day business operations.
- The ideal candidate will have strong SAP experience, excellent knowledge of UAE accounting regulations and IFRS, and the ability to thrive within a fast growing international business.
