About the Role
The Curtain Company, a luxury interiors brand in Dubai, seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to manage end-to-end financial operations. Responsibilities include invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, VAT filings, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
- Oversee end to end accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial records
- Prepare and process invoices, quotations, and purchase orders
- Manage accounts receivable & payable, including follow up on outstanding payments
- Handle petty cash transactions, reconciliations, and expense tracking
- Prepare and submit VAT/tax filings in compliance with UAE regulations
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support management decisions
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements & reports
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities as needed
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 5 years of UAE experience in full cycle accounting
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and corporate tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams
