What does your typical day look like?
Works in collaboration with the International Operations Accounting Manager and the site controllers to ensure the production of monthly financial statements;
Works in collaboration with the International Operations Accounting Manager to produce the external audit documentation;
Works in collaboration with the International Operations Accounting Manager in preparing financial analysis on financial statements, highlights performance issues and prepares reports for management;
Reconciles assigned general ledger account in a timely manner, including intercompany transactions;
Researches and resolves all outstanding, out-of-balance or stale-dated items;
Temporary Assignment (July 2026 to Early February 2028)
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field;
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience, preferably in the financial or travel insurance industry;
- Professional designation of CPA would be an asset;
- Bilingual French and English (spoken and written). French is used daily, particularly for follow-up communications with other departments from the Sherbrooke office;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Basic knowledge of taxation regulations;
- Strong analytical and reporting skills;
- Excellent skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Knowledge of Workday and Adaptive would be an asset.
