We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Virtual Accountant to support our financial operations and help drive business growth.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Virtual Accountant who will be responsible for bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and supporting UAE VAT and tax compliance requirements.
Experience
in restaurant accounting is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
- Record daily sales, expenses, and supplier invoices
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Monitor cash flow and company expenses
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Reconcile sales from POS systems and delivery platforms (Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon, etc.)
- Track inventory and food costs
- Assist with VAT documentation and tax-related reporting
- Prepare payroll data and employee expense reports
- Maintain organized digital financial records
- Support management with financial analysis and budgeting
Technical Requirements:Must have a high-speed, stable Wi-Fi/internet connection and a suitable home office setup to support uninterrupted remote work during business hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of UAE VAT requirements
- Restaurant, retail, or food service accounting experience
- Experience working remotely with international companies
Full-Time
5 Days a week
Must be available during Dubai business hours when required
