About the Role

Responsibilities
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and tax authorities as required
- Manage accurate accounting for real estate property sales, leases, and projects including off plan sales, commissions, and escrow transactions
- Coordinate with property management and sales teams for transaction reconciliations
- Monitor and review financial transactions to identify potential AML risks
- Conduct and maintain KYC documentation for clients, tenants, and vendors
- Stay updated on UAE AML laws, regulatory changes, and compliance procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of UAE based accounting experience
- Preferably in real estate
- Solid understanding of RERA compliance and VAT accounting
- Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Tally, Yardi, or Oracle

Job Overview
- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant with a background in Real Estate accounting and Anti Money Laundering (AML) compliance.
