Job Summary
The Accountant & Office Administrator will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations, financial documentation, office administration, coordination with suppliers and clients, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office activities.
The ideal candidate should be organized, trustworthy, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilitiesaccounting Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare invoices, quotations, purchase orders, and payment vouchers
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Process payroll and employee expense claims
- Support VAT preparation and financial reporting
- Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and banks
- Track payments, outstanding balances, and supplier schedules
- Maintain petty cash records and expense tracking
Office Administration Responsibilities
- Handle daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Organize company documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and office schedules
- Support HR-related administrative activities
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement coordination
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and partners
- Prepare reports, presentations, and official letters when required
- Ensure confidentiality of company information and records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and administration
- Experience in UAE accounting procedures and VAT regulations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience with accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, Odoo, Tally, or similar)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or technology companies
- Familiarity with UAE government portals and WPS systems
- Strong reporting and document management skills
