About the Role
Lava Interiors & Fit-Out seeks an experienced Accountant with a background in interior fit-out, construction, or decoration companies. The role involves managing full accounting operations, project cost tracking, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting operations
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and monthly closing
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Manage supplier, subcontractor, and client payments
- Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Record project costs and monitor project profitability
- Coordinate with the Project Management team regarding project budgets and variations
- Process payroll, employee expenses, and petty cash
- Maintain fixed asset records
- Prepare documents required by auditors and management
- Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all financial records
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Mandatory experience in Interior Fit Out, Construction, or Decoration companies in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
- Good understanding of VAT regulations in the UAE
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, Odoo, or similar ERP systems)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage)

About the Role
- Lava Interiors & Fit Out is looking for an experienced Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai.
- The ideal candidate must have a strong accounting background in Interior Fit Out, Construction, or Decoration companies and understand the complete financial workflow of projects from quotation to final account.
